The population of Hundred represents 0.02% of the population of West Virginia (which has 1,852,994 people), making it the state's 192nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 299 people, the population of Hundred decreased 13.08% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 344 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Hundred was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Hundred post office opened in 1887.

We also found Hundred in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
