From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Osceola was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Osceola post office opened in 1897.

We also found Osceola mentioned on a train schedule titled Canadian Pacific Railroad Time Tables (October 1899).
