At the time of the 2010 Census, Bangor had a population of 1,459 people. This makes Bangor the county's 13th most populous community.

The population of Bangor represents 0.03% of the total population of Wisconsin (which has 5,686,986 people), making it the state's 602nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,459 people, the population of Bangor increased 4.21% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 1,400 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Bangor was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Bangor post office opened in 1855.

We also found Bangor in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
