Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Sequim had an population of 7,649 people. This is an increase of 15.79% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 76.49% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Sequim had a population of 6,606 people (or 9.25% of the total population of Clallam County). This makes Sequim the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Sequim represents 0.1% of the total population of Washington (which has 6,724,540 people), making it the state's 103rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 6,606 people, the population of Sequim increased 52.42% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 4,334 people).
