At the time of the 2010 Census, the Town of Stowe had a population of 4,314 people (which is 17.63% of the total population of Lamoille County). This makes Stowe the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Stowe represents 0.69% of the total population of Vermont (which has 625,741 people), making it the state's 36th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 4,314 people, the population of Stowe has remained roughly the same as the 2000 Census (which had a count of 4,339 people).
