Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Warsaw had an population of 1,490 people. This is a decrease of 1.46% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 8.36% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Warsaw had a population of 1,512 people (or 16.34% of the total population of Richmond County). This makes Warsaw the county's most populous community.

The population of Warsaw represents 0.02% of the total population of Virginia (which has 8,001,024 people), making it the state's 111st most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,512 people, the population of Warsaw increased 9.96% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 1,375 people).
