Welcome to Ogden (aka 'Ogden City') ...

The city of Ogden is located in Weber County<1> and is the County Seat for Weber County.



Ogden was established in 1844 and was incorporated February 6, 1851.

When the people of Ogden<2> refer to themselves (known as a demonym), they frequently use Ogdenite<3>

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, Ogden has a population of 87,596 people<4> (see below for details).

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Ogden had an population of 87,596 people. This is an increase of 5.76% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 13.43% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Ogden had a population of 82,825 people (or 35.82% of the total population of Weber County). This makes Ogden the county's most populous community.

The population of Ogden represents 3% of the population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 82,825 people, the population of Ogden increased 7.25% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 77,226 people).
