Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Logan had an population of 51,537 people. This is an increase of 6.98% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 20.78% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Logan had a population of 48,174 people (or 42.76% of the total population of Cache County). This makes Logan the county's most populous community.

The population of Logan represents 1.74% of the population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 12th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 48,174 people, the population of Logan increased 12.9% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 42,670 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Logan was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Logan post office opened in 1861.

We also found Logan in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
