From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Duchesne was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Duchesne post office opened in 1911.

We also found Duchesne mentioned on a train schedule titled Trailways Santa Fe Bus Time Table (July 1945).
