Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Bountiful had an population of 43,951 people. This is an increase of 3.29% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 6.42% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Bountiful had a population of 42,552 people (which is 13.88% of the total population of Davis County). This makes Bountiful the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Bountiful represents 1.54% of the population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 15th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 42,552 people, the population of Bountiful increased 3.03% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 41,301 people).

We originally found mention of Bountiful in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Bountiful was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Bountiful post office opened in 1883.

We also found Bountiful on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1890.
