At the time of the 2010 Census, Pearland had a population of 91,252 people (or 29.14% of the total population of Brazoria County). This makes Pearland the county's most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Pearland was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>
