This is an increase of 18.67% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 74.67% since the 2000 Census). At the time of the 2010 Census, Killeen had a population of 127,921 people (or 41.23% of the total population of Bell County). This makes Killeen the county's most populous community. The population of Killeen represents 0.51% of the total population of Texas (which has 25,145,561 people), making it the state's 21st most populous community. With a 2010 count of 127,921 people, the population of Killeen increased 47.19% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 86,911 people).
