While we don't have a date for the founding of Happy, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, Happy has a population of 668 people<2> (see below for details).

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Happy had an population of 668 people. This is a decrease of 1.47% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 3.25% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Happy had a population of 678 people (or 8.63% of the total population of Swisher County). This makes Happy the county's 3rd most populous community.
