From the Census Estimates for 2019, Garrett has a population of 880 people<3> (see below for details). The community of Garrett is 540 feet [165 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: Garrett lies in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Garrett had an population of 880 people. This is an increase of 9.18% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 96.43% since the 2000 Census). At the time of the 2010 Census, Garrett had a population of 806 people. This makes Garrett the county's 11th most populous community. With a 2010 count of 806 people, the population of Garrett increased 79.91% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 448 people).
