Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Aransas Pass had an population of 8,362 people. This is an increase of 1.93% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 2.75% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Aransas Pass had a population of 8,204 people (or 35.43% of the total population of Aransas County). This makes Aransas Pass the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Aransas Pass represents 0.03% of the total population of Texas (which has 25,145,561 people), making it the state's 239th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 8,204 people, the population of Aransas Pass has remained roughly the same as the 2000 Census (which had a count of 8,138 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Aransas Pass was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Aransas Pass post office opened in 1889.
