From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for White Bluff was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the White Bluff post office opened in 1855.

We also found White Bluff on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Tennessee (1888).
