At the time of the 2010 Census, Trenton had a population of 4,264 people (or 8.58% of the total population of Gibson County). This makes Trenton the county's 3rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 4,264 people, the population of Trenton decreased 8.95% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 4,683 people).
