At the time of the 2010 Census, Toone had a population of 364 people. This makes Toone the county's 4th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 364 people, the population of Toone increased 10.3% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 330 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Toone was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Toone post office opened in 1882.

We also found Toone in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
