The city of LaFollette is located in Campbell County<1>.



While we don't have a date for the founding of LaFollette, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, LaFollette has a population of 6,671 people<2> (see below for details).

LaFollette is 1,320 feet [402 m] above sea level.<3>.

Time Zone: LaFollette lies in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Note: If you travel west from LaFollette (for example, toward Gernt), you will leave Eastern Time and cross into the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT).

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, LaFollette had an population of 6,671 people. This is a decrease of 10.53% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 15.83% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, LaFollette had a population of 7,456 people (which is 18.31% of the total population of Campbell County). This makes LaFollette the county's most populous community.

The population of LaFollette represents 0.12% of the total population of Tennessee (which has 6,346,105 people), making it the state's 73rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 7,456 people, the population of LaFollette decreased 5.93% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 7,926 people).
