Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Parker had an population of 1,016 people. This is a decrease of 0.59% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 1.45% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Parker had a population of 1,022 people (which is 12.24% of the total population of Turner County). This makes Parker the county's most populous community.

The population of Parker represents 0.13% of the total population of South Dakota (which has 814,180 people), making it the state's 87th most populous community.
