At the time of the 2010 Census, Miller had a population of 1,489 people (which is 43.4% of the total population of Hand County). This makes Miller the county's most populous community.

We originally found mention of Miller in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Miller was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Miller post office opened in 1881.

We also found Miller in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
