Time Zone: Most of Nunavut is in the Eastern Time (EST/EDT) zone and observes daylight saving time.

Coral Harbour/Sallit is in the Eastern Time (EST) zone and does not observed daylight saving time.

Rankin Inlet/Kangiqliniq is in the Central Time (CST/CDT) zone and daylight saving time.

Inuktitut is the language of the Inuit and is spoken by approximately 70% of those who identify themselves as Inuit. Nunavut also has a small French speaking (ie- Francophone) community.
