Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Whitehall had an population of 13,394 people. This is a decrease of 3.94% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 7.27% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Whitehall had a population of 13,944 people. This makes Whitehall the county's 9th most populous community.

The population of Whitehall represents 0.11% of the population of Pennsylvania (which has 12,702,379 people), making it the state's 44th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 13,944 people, the population of Whitehall decreased 3.46% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 14,444 people).
