At the time of the 2010 Census, Stroudsburg had a population of 5,567 people. This makes Stroudsburg the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Stroudsburg represents 0.04% of the population of Pennsylvania (which has 12,702,379 people), making it the state's 169th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 5,567 people, the population of Stroudsburg decreased 3.28% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 5,756 people).
