Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Rochester had an population of 3,441 people. This is a decrease of 5.91% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 14.28% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Rochester had a population of 3,657 people. This makes Rochester the county's 9th most populous community.

The population of Rochester represents 0.03% of the total population of Pennsylvania (which has 12,702,379 people), making it the state's 271st most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 3,657 people, the population of Rochester decreased 8.89% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 4,014 people).
