Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Perkasie had an population of 8,740 people. This is an increase of 2.69% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 1% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Perkasie had a population of 8,511 people. This makes Perkasie the county's 4th most populous community.

The population of Perkasie represents 0.07% of the population of Pennsylvania (which has 12,702,379 people), making it the state's 90th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 8,511 people, the population of Perkasie decreased 3.59% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 8,828 people).
