While we don't have a date for the founding of Oakland, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1911.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Oakland had an population of 561 people. This is a decrease of 8.93% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 9.81% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Oakland had a population of 616 people. This makes Oakland the county's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 616 people, the population of Oakland has remained roughly the same as the 2000 Census (which had a count of 622 people).
