The community of Lebanon is the Seat for Lebanon County.

Lebanon County was founded February 16, 1819. Lebanon was created by taking area from Dauphin and Lancaster Counties.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Lebanon had a population of 141,318 people. This is an increase of 5.8% since the last Census (which gave a population of 133,568 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Lebanon represented 1.05% of the total population of Pennsylvania.
