Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Junction City had an population of 6,226 people. This is an increase of 15.47% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 31.88% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Junction City had a population of 5,392 people. This makes Junction City the county's 5th most populous community.

The population of Junction City represents 0.14% of the population of Oregon (which has 3,831,074 people), making it the state's 73rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 5,392 people, the population of Junction City increased 14.21% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 4,721 people).
