Lincoln County was founded in 1893. Lincoln was created by taking area from Benton and Polk Counties.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Lincoln had a population of 50,125 people. This is an increase of 8.89% since the last Census (which gave a population of 46,034 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Lincoln represented 1.2% of the total population of Oregon.
