Time Zone: Curry County lies in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time.

The community of Gold Beach is the Seat for Curry County.

Curry County was founded in 1855 and was created by taking area from Coos County.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Curry had a population of 22,981 people. This is an increase of 2.76% since the last Census (which gave a population of 22,364 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Curry represented 0.58% of the total population of Oregon.

    (23 miles [37 km] to the south)
  • Gold Beach
    (7 miles [11.3 km] to the west)
  • Port Orford
    (26 miles [41.8 km] to the northwest)
