Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Boardman had an population of 3,751 people. This is an increase of 16.49% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 31.38% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Boardman had a population of 3,220 people (which is 28.82% of the total population of Morrow County). This makes Boardman the county's most populous community.

The population of Boardman represents 0.08% of the population of Oregon (which has 3,831,074 people), making it the state's 91st most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 3,220 people, the population of Boardman increased 12.78% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 2,855 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Boardman was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Boardman post office opened in 1916.
