At the time of the 2010 Census, Broken Arrow had a population of 98,850 people (or 16.38% of the total population of Tulsa County). This makes Broken Arrow the county's most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Broken Arrow was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Broken Arrow post office opened in 1881.
