At the time of the 2010 Census, Warren had a population of 41,557 people (which is 19.76% of the total population of Trumbull County). This makes Warren the county's most populous community.

The population of Warren represents 0.36% of the total population of Ohio (which has 11,536,504 people), making it the state's 26th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 41,557 people, the population of Warren decreased 11.26% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 46,832 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Warren was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Warren post office opened in 1801.
