Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Oxford had an population of 23,124 people. This is an increase of 8.2% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 5.38% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Oxford had a population of 21,371 people (which is 5.81% of the total population of Butler County). This makes Oxford the county's 4th most populous community.

The population of Oxford represents 0.19% of the population of Ohio (which has 11,536,504 people), making it the state's 75th most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Oxford was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>
