The village of Magnolia is primarily located in Stark County<1>. A portion of Magnolia extends into Carroll County.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Magnolia, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1836.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Magnolia had an population of 967 people. This is a decrease of 1.12% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 3.87% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Magnolia had a population of 978 people. This makes Magnolia the county's 4th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 978 people, the population of Magnolia increased 5.05% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 931 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Magnolia was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Magnolia post office opened in 1836.

We also found Magnolia in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
