Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Schoharie had an population of 818 people. This is a decrease of 11.28% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 20.58% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Schoharie had a population of 922 people. This makes Schoharie the county's 17th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 922 people, the population of Schoharie decreased 10.49% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,030 people).
