At the time of the 2010 Census, North Las Vegas had a population of 216,961 people (or 11.12% of the total population of Clark County). This makes North Las Vegas the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of North Las Vegas represents 8.03% of the population of Nevada (which has 2,700,551 people), making it the state's 4th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 216,961 people, the population of North Las Vegas increased 87.86% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 115,488 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for North Las Vegas was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>
