This is a decrease of 12.13% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 28.4% since the 2000 Census). At the time of the 2010 Census, Springer had a population of 1,047 people (or 7.61% of the total population of Colfax County). This makes Springer the county's 3rd most populous community. The population of Springer represents 0.05% of the population of New Mexico (which has 2,059,179 people), making it the state's 62nd most populous community.
