Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Folsom had an population of 53 people. This is a decrease of 5.36% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 29.33% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Folsom had a population of 56 people. This makes Folsom the county's 3rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 56 people, the population of Folsom decreased 25.33% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 75 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Folsom was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Folsom post office opened in 1888.
