While we don't have a date for the founding of Corrales, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Corrales had an population of 8,702 people. This is an increase of 4.48% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 18.65% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Corrales had a population of 8,329 people. This makes Corrales the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Corrales represents 0.4% of the total population of New Mexico (which has 2,059,179 people), making it the state's 23rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 8,329 people, the population of Corrales increased 13.57% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 7,334 people).
