Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Springfield had an population of 1,345 people. This is an increase of 2.59% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 42.33% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Springfield had a population of 1,311 people. This makes Springfield the county's 9th most populous community.

The population of Springfield represents 0.1% of the population of New Hampshire (which has 1,316,470 people), making it the state's 173rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,311 people, the population of Springfield increased 38.73% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 945 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Springfield was in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
