At the time of the 2010 Census, Nashua had a population of 86,494 people (which is 21.58% of the total population of Hillsborough County). This makes Nashua the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Nashua represents 6.57% of the population of New Hampshire (which has 1,316,470 people), making it the state's 2nd most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Nashua was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Nashua post office opened in 1837.

We also found Nashua in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
