Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Wahoo had an population of 4,542 people. This is an increase of 0.75% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 15.22% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Wahoo had a population of 4,508 people (or 21.69% of the total population of Saunders County). This makes Wahoo the county's most populous community.

The population of Wahoo represents 0.25% of the population of Nebraska (which has 1,826,341 people), making it the state's 33rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 4,508 people, the population of Wahoo increased 14.36% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 3,942 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Wahoo was on a map titled Map of Nebraska (from Rand McNally, 1895).

We also found Wahoo mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
