Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Center had an population of 87 people. This is a decrease of 7.45% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 3.33% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Center had a population of 94 people. This makes Center the county's 8th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 94 people, the population of Center increased 4.44% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 90 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Center was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Center post office opened in 1902.
