At the time of the 2010 Census, Verona had a population of 85 people. This makes Verona the county's 5th most populous community.

The population of Verona represents 0.01% of the population of North Dakota (which has 672,591 people), making it the state's 292nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 85 people, the population of Verona decreased 21.3% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 108 people).
