Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Tioga had an population of 1,364 people. This is an increase of 10.89% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 21.24% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Tioga had a population of 1,230 people (or 5.49% of the total population of Williams County). This makes Tioga the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Tioga represents 0.18% of the population of North Dakota (which has 672,591 people), making it the state's 50th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,230 people, the population of Tioga increased 9.33% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,125 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Tioga was on a map titled Map of North Dakota (from Rand McNally, 1897).

We also found Tioga in the book titled .<7> From that list, the Tioga post office opened in 1902.
