Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Monango had an population of 37 people. This is an increase of 2.78% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 32.14% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Monango had a population of 36 people. This makes Monango the county's 5th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 36 people, the population of Monango increased 28.57% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 28 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Monango was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Monango post office opened in 1886.

We also found Monango in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
