At the time of the 2010 Census, Mohall had a population of 783 people (which is 31.7% of the total population of Renville County). This makes Mohall the county's most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Mohall was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Mohall post office opened in 1902.
