At the time of the 2010 Census, Mantador had a population of 64 people. This makes Mantador the county's 12th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 64 people, the population of Mantador decreased 9.86% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 71 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Mantador was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Mantador post office opened in 1893.

We also found Mantador on a map titled Rand McNally Map of North Dakota (1897).
